Josh Williams

Josh Williams is Head of Policy, Research, and Consulting at Skills Group, New Zealand’s largest Private Training Establishment. Josh is an internationally recognised expert in vocational education, particularly in apprenticeships and education-to-employment pathways.

Josh’s experience spans 25 years in the New Zealand education and industry training systems. He was Chief Executive of the Industry Training Federation of New Zealand, leading policy and advocacy for New Zealand’s systems for workplace training and apprenticeships. Josh was also a Senior Policy Manager in Tertiary Education Policy in the New Zealand Ministry of Education. He now leads a team that consults on workforce and skills issues in New Zealand and internationally.
