Lorraine Salloum

Lorraine, a values-driven and award-winning executive leader, established Ability Advocates in September 2023. With a mission to transform the world for people with disabilities, Ability Advocates provides comprehensive services to individuals with disabilities, their families, workplaces, other NDIS providers, corporations, and government entities. A registered NDIS provider and Group Training Organisation (GTO), Ability Advocates specialising in inclusive workplaces and disability employment regardless of funding source.
Lorraine brings extensive experience from senior executive roles within the NSW Public Service, including the NSW Treasury and the NSW Department of Family Services, where she led various portfolios encompassing workplace culture, development and recruitment. She has held c-suite positions in some of Australia’s leading disability service providers and currently serves on numerous boards across various for-purpose organisations in sectors such as Disability, Aged Care, Homelessness, Youth and Community, and Settlement Services.
Her leadership has been instrumental in earning recognition for a not-for-profit disability services organisation on the Australian Financial Review’s list of Best Places to Work in 2021. Lorraine’s accolades include an Excellence Award at the Australian HR Awards, the title of Employee Experience Hero by the UK World Employee Experience Institute in 2019, the 2024 AusMumpreneur award, and the Fairfield City Council Women’s Day Award in 2022 for her professional and community contributions.
