Robyn Pemberton

Robyn is a distinguished leader in vocational education and training (VET) with extensive expertise in strategic leadership and policy development within the NSW Department of Education. Currently serving as the Director, Careers and Pathways Programs in Skills and Workforce Programs. With a focus on driving state and national reforms in VET and careers and pathways education, Robyn has established a reputation for delivering impactful, system-wide initiatives.
Robyn’s leadership has been instrumental in overseeing transformative programs such as the Vocational High School Pilot Program and the Pathways Improvement, both pivotal to the broader Plan for NSW Public Education. These initiatives highlight Robyn’s unwavering commitment to advancing educational opportunities and improving outcomes for young people.
Beginning their career as a Secondary Teacher, Robyn has steadily progressed through high-impact leadership and advisory roles.
